All prices quoted are full cost prices with no UK VAT / tax to add as the business is not a UK VAT-registered business. All websites are run on UK based leased web servers.
What is included in our annual invoice for running a website?
- Bespoke design of your website to create an effective web presence for your business and on-going development of the site.
- Registration fees for all live domain names (www. website names) which we have agreed are included in the contract. Help is also available to manage any additional domains you would like to register.
- Email accounts on all domain names. You can choose to have emails delivered to another email address, configured for collection by your computer, configured to be delivered to your office mail server or collected directly from the website. Please visit our help page on emails for more information.
- Hosting of your website with our partners RackSpace as described in our Service Level Agreement with full daily backup and guaranteed down-time to never exceed one hour. Our current up-time is very close to 100%.
- Email technical support on almost anything relevant to running the website.
- Text and image changes for existing pages. Pages which need constant update will have a Content Management System (CMS) added which allows you to update the page as you require.
- Accessibility re-coding. All art71 websites conform fully to the Disability Discrimination Act and coding guidelines laid down by the W3C. This means we can be confident that the websites are usable by all and that the next generation of web browsers such as TV and cellphone-based systems will work fully.
- Search Engine Optimisation to keep your site as close as possible to the top of general web searches. Assistance with your Google adWords or Yahoo! ad camapign. More on our Search Engine Optimisation service
- Control page access giving you as the website owner access to logged messages, orders, site visitor analysis and interactive web software.
- Security. We constantly work towards greater security for the websites to prevent intruders accessing sensitive data or slowing the server down by running unwelcome software.
- User feedback. All clients are encouraged to send any feedback from users of their website or from their own experience to help improve all websites which we run. Your experience can help us to develop all our websites in the future towards web n.0 ...smart, intelligent, responsive websites.
Hidden fees?
With art71 there are no unexpected fees, no extra costs charged at some mind-boggling hourly rate and no essential elements of running your website excluded from the service. The Web is changing at a fast rate and with art71 you can be assured that your website will be kept up to speed with the latest solutions for smart, modern websites. If you require additional functionality for your website we will be happy to quote on a per job basis.
Cancel agreement?
Situations can change and you may discover that you can no longer work with art71. Perhaps you discover you would like to run the website in-house? Or perhaps you wish to work with new technical partners? All art71 agreements can be broken with just ONE day's notice from you, the Client. art71 also reserves the right to cancel the agreement in exceptional circumstances with 30 (THIRTY) days' notice.
