gMail

  • Click Settings at the top of any Gmail page, and open the Accounts and Import tab. (For Google Apps domains, open the Accounts tab.)
  • In the Check mail using POP3 section, click Add POP3 email account.
  • Enter the full email address of the account you'd like to access, then click Next Step.
  • Enter your full email address as the Username. Enter your Password.
  • Decide whether to leave a copy of retrieved messages on the server. If you leave a copy then you can also retrieve your mails via a mobile device. art71 emails are also backed up so it guarantees a copy of your mails are stored. art71 don't put any limits on this so feel free to leave a copy on the server.
  • The secure connection (SSL) encryption is not required.
  • Label incoming messages. If you'd like to automatically label all messages that are retrieved from your non-Google account, select this option. You can choose to use the predefined label (your email address), or you can select an existing label or create a new one from the drop-down list.
  • Click Add Account.
  • The final selections are probably easiest to accept gmail's recommended settings. You will need to verify the account so you may need to login to webmail at http://webmail.your-domain.com/ to finish the verification process more information on webmail.
